Local Plumbers with a Heart for Community
Supporting and Investing in Future Potential

DMI Plumbing Pukekohe, Auckland

We support local youth through our sponsorship of football and our annual DMI Plumbing Scholarship. This is a $1,500 scholarship awarded to a Pukekohe High School student who shows aptitude and commitment to a trade apprenticeship.

Training the next generation is important to the DMI team. “Two of our current registered plumbers started with us as young apprentices and worked their way to their qualifications under our direction,” says Dean.

Giving back, so we can all move forward

Supporting one another is key to the DMI Plumbing philosophy. We support community events and sports groups including Counties Hockey and Pukekohe Football, Jammies In June and the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust. Here are some of the other locals we support.

Pukekohe High School

As an official ‘friend of the school’ we offer students work experience opportunities and sponsor the school’s 1st X1 football team. Our annual plumbing scholarship has been assisting teens with the costs of training toward a trade apprenticeship, since 2014.

Pukekohe Association Football Club

We sponsor Pukekohe AFC each season to help provide uniforms and equipment for the 800 players in the club. Dean and Suzanne have a strong personal commitment to the club and coach and co-ordinate the clubs junior players.

Middlemore Foundation

We’re a drop off point for the hospital’s annual Jammies in June campaign. This provides sick children within Middlemore Hospital and local families in need, with pyjamas gifted from individuals and businesses.

Our DMI Plumbing team

A twelve-member team of committed plumbing professionals serving Franklin including Pukekohe, Tuakau, Waiuku, Karaka, Drury and the wider South-Auckland area.

Dean is our certifying plumbing and gas-fitter. Our foremen, Shane and Tom, are both registered plumbers. Rounding out the team we have registered plumber/gas-fitter, three journeymen plumbers and four apprentices in varying stages of their training. Suzanne and Sara handle all the administrative duties in the office.
